BERRY’S ICE CREAM
Less is definitely more when it comes to this delicious ice cream, made using local fruit and cream in Herefordshire. When Frank and Fenella Kenyon-Slaney took over the business (formerly Just Rachel’s) in 2020, they worked with award-winning chef Sue Stinchcombe (former head chef at Belle House in Pershore), to develop a range of exciting new flavours of ice creams, sorbets and desserts.
Hand-made, hand-poured and using only natural ingredients, the ice creams have also enjoyed a new look, with the luxury red and gold packaging hinting at the luxury product inside. Everything is geared towards quality, with locally-sourced ingredients being used where possible, and all the extra ingredients, such as toffee sauce, honeycomb, praline and caramel are made by hand.
New flavours include Damson & Sloe Gin; Gooseberry & Elderflower; and Rhubarb ice cream, and there’s also a range of dairy-free ice cream, made with coconut cream, including flavours such as Chocolate, Passionfruit, and Lime & Coconut Liqueur, while the refreshingly fruity sorbets offer a lighter alternative.
