Warner’s is an independently owned group of food stores based in the Cotswolds and Three Counties. Guy Warner, a familiar face on the Cotswolds food and drink scene has been running stores in the area for over 20 years, with a commitment to working with local food and drink producers as well as offering customers the best choice of supermarket favourites.
The most recent addition to the group is Warner’s Supermarket in Upton-upon-Severn, Worcestershire. A Warner’s branded independent supermarket and the first store in the UK to work in partnership with Morrisons, giving customers a huge range of branded and Morrisons own-branded products to choose from, alongside a huge range of locally sourced food and drink.

This means that as well as everything you would expect in a supermarket, we also stock hundreds of locally-produced items, many award-winning, and all personally sourced by us. Guy Warner and the team at Warner’s strongly believe that supporting local producers in this way brings benefits to our customers, both in terms of quality and choice as well as to the local economy. Our aim is for our customers to be able to find amazing local food and drink on shelves alongside big-name brands and lower cost alternatives, providing customer the choice to enjoy quality produce from local growers producers and suppliers, alongside their weekly shop.
Charlie Beldam, the owner of Cotswold Gold, one of our local producers, based just outside Broadway, says “Warner’s have always been great supporters of local businesses such as myself. We have built a great relationship over the years, and they provide a great route to market for my products, whilst still keeping that personal feel.”
Our commitment to reducing food miles means that we try to source seasonal fruit and vegetables from British and local growers and we offer 100% British own-brand meat alongside our local meat ranges. We have developed firm and lasting relationships with many local producers who have showcased their produce in our stores and we are extremely proud to have been part of their journey.
AT THE HEART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
From day one, Warner’s set out to be a genuinely community-focused store and 15 years later we continue to make real contributions to the local communities in which we have stores. Our Community Savings Scheme has been running for over ten years and to date has raised in excess of £50,000 for local charities, clubs and schools.
