BEING PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY IS AT THE VERY HEART OF WHAT WE DO AT WARNER’S. EVER SINCE WE OPENED OUR FIRST STORE BACK IN 2007 WE HAVE MADE IT OUR MISSION TO BE GENUINELY INVESTED IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES AROUND OUR STORES - AND WE LOVE IT!

Every community is unique, so we look at how best we can meet each one’s unique needs. Through taking the time to speak to local schools, sports teams, charities, clubs and community groups, we get to really understand how we can be most supportive. Whether it’s donating food and drink for a local event, purchasing sports kits for a nearby team, contributing towards the day-to-day running cost of a children’s breakfast club, or a school visit to one of our local suppliers, we are very flexible and creative in the ways which we support local communities.

The Warner’s Community Savings scheme has been running for over 15 years and has resulted in over £50,000 being donated to local groups and charities. Our loyal customers are at the very heart of this initiative, getting to choose who they would like us to support. Tokens are earnt for each £10 spent instore, which can then be deposited into a collection box for whichever local group or charity they like most.

We support two local groups or charities every 6 months and at the end of the period we turn the tokens into cash and present them with a cheque (or a bank transfer in this day and age!)
