BATTLEDOWN BREWERY

Brewed in the heart of Cheltenham since 2005, this family-run brewery took advantage of the 2020 lockdown respite to move premises and install a brand new kit which has led to the creation of a new and exciting range of beers.

Alongside the bottled Heritage Range, which consists of the brewery’s original ales, is the new Cotswolds Range of canned beers, which use innovative modern ingredients and new world hops.

The brewery is now housed in a converted barn at Coxhorne Farm near Cheltenham, where a 13 hectolitre brewplant was installed. Spring water is collected straight from the Cotswold Hills behind the brewery, giving the beers a new level of freshness.

This combination of classic and modern ingredients and brewing methods means the brewery can continue to produce its core range while also continuing to innovate.
