FRANK’S LUXURY BISCUITS

If you like your biscuits big and bold, then get your teeth into one of Frank’s awesome Oaties. It was these oat-based biscuits that started it all off for Frank Cornthwaite, who had been baking biscuits for family and friends using his mother’s oat biscuit recipe.

In 2002, a friend suggested that Frank should market the biscuit and in December of that year, Frank took early retirement to bake biscuits. He started out selling locally in Hereford, but within six months, the business had increased so much that he and his wife, Lesley, started looking for new premises for their baking. A year later they moved again to even bigger premises and in 2004, began delivering nationwide.

By this time, Lesley had created a range of cakes, with a new range of Butter Bites being introduce in 2011 by Lesley’s son, James. The business continued to grow and now Frank’s Luxury Biscuits supplies over 500 outlets with customers also in Denmark and Sweden.

Despite such huge growth, the biscuits are all still baked by hand using the finest ingredients. The Oaties come in a range of 26 flavours, while the Butter Bites are available in 6 flavours combinations.
