HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FANTASTIC TEAM!

We are super proud of our Upton-upon-Severn store team who won Store Team of the Year at the Retail Industry Awards 2023. The Retail Industry Awards are the most prestigious awards in the food retail sector. This is amazing recognition of our fabulous team who work so hard to keep the store looking great and ensuring customers receive excellent service.

The judges said, “Fourteen months ago, this store was not open, the team did not exist and the recruitment process was just beginning. Now, when you enter Warner’s, the sense of family and the one-team approach is truly felt in every corner of the store. Our judges were impressed not only by the speed at which the team was assembled and trained, but also by the sales uplift, which has been amazing. Their hard work and dedication has delivered fantastic standards, availability and sales, with revenues now standing at more than £100,000 a week, and the team has clearly gone above and beyond their roles to support the store. One judge said: “This store is a great example of going from bottom to top in just over a year. Brilliant stuff.”

Well done team! Warner’s also received the highly commended award for Best Use of Technology, another great achievement.
