HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FANTASTIC TEAM!

We’re incredibly proud of our Upton-upon-Severn store team, who have been crowned Independent Retailer of the Year at the Retail Industry Awards 2026.

The Retail Industry Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the UK food retail sector, recognising excellence, innovation and outstanding achievement across the industry. This award celebrates our Upton-upon-Severn team’s exceptional commitment to customers, community engagement and innovation within the grocery sector.

The award was presented at a glittering ceremony at Hilton London Bankside on Tuesday 22 September, hosted by comedian Mark Watson.

Judges were particularly impressed by the store’s strong value proposition, creative marketing initiatives and enhanced customer loyalty programme, alongside its unwavering commitment to supporting the local community. The team was also recognised for its dedication to championing local suppliers and producers.

The award was proudly collected on the night by Jack Cross, Store Manager; Becky Willis, Marketing Manager; and Molly Apps, Assistant Store Manager.

A huge congratulations to the whole Upton-upon-Severn team on this fantastic achievement. Well done!
