The Well Spring at Upton Baptist Church are busy fundraising for the development of their chapel and attached community room. W
e were delighted to present Rev Amy Wearing with a cheque from our Community Savings Scheme.
The charity is dedicated to improving their facilities and are embarking on a journey to transform the currently unusable historic chapel into a beacon of warmth, accessibility and creativity. Our donation of £501.20 will help towards the cost of these renovations.
The Warner’s Community Savings supports local groups and charities by giving customers the opportunity to donate a community token to their chosen charity every time they shop and spend over £10. Every six months Warner’s turns the tokens into cash and presents it to the local group or charity.
