COMMUNITY SAVINGS SCHEME DONATES TO UPTON COMMUNITY CARE

Upton Community Care provides a vital transport service for local residents who have no access to transport or any other practical means of travelling to medical appointments. Their dedicated team helps ensure that people can attend essential healthcare appointments when they need them most. We were delighted to present Chairman Wayne and dedicated volunteers with a cheque for £514.27 from our Community Savings Scheme.

The funding will be of significant benefit and will contribute towards the costs of providing transport to medical appointments for the elderly in Upton and the surrounding villages. It was great to also be jpined by Upton in Bloom, who nomianted the chairty for all their amazing work!

The Warner’s Community Savings Scheme supports local groups and charities by giving customers the opportunity to donate a community token to their chosen charity every time they shop and spend over £10. Every six months Warner’s turns the tokens into cash and presents it to the local group or charity.
