St Peter and St Paul Church in Upton have been busy fundraising for their ‘Flush Fund’ raising money to provide toilet facilities in the church to enhance it’s use as a community centre. W
e were delighted to present the friends of Upton Parish Church with a cheque from our Community Savings Scheme.
The Church hosts a range of events for the whole community throughout the year, from the Blues Festival to pop up cafe’s and choir evenings our donation of £505.90 will help the Church install toilet facilities, making these more accessible for all.
The Warner’s Community Savings supports local groups and charities by giving customers the opportunity to donate a community token to their chosen charity every time they shop and spend over £10. Every six months Warner’s turns the tokens into cash and presents it to the local group or charity.
