ONCE UPON A TREE CIDER

This is cider but not as you know it. Yes, you can find the usual Medium and Dry ciders, but it is the exciting idea of blending English wine grapes with the cider apples that makes these drinks something special.

Of course, this couldn’t be done without specialist knowledge and thankfully that’s what wine-maker Simon Day brings to the business. His knowledge and appetite to apply winemaking principles to cider production has led to the creation of some innovative, award-winning products.

It’s a far cry from the humble beginnings when the company started out in cold outbuildings at Dragon Orchard in 2007 – today, the drinks have evolved to pick up some heavy wight titles including BBC Radio 4’s Food & Farming Drinks Producer of the Year, Overall Champion Trophy at the International Cider & Perry Competition, and winner of the Bath & West Champion Perry Trophy.
