CELEBRATING EASTER WITH A CLASSIC TREAT!

You know we’ve turned a corner from winter into spring when Easter eggs start to brighten up the shelves and the first of our home-grown produce begins to make an appearance.

Hot cross buns also play a special role at this time of the year - signalling the end of Lent and the abstinence of the winter months, they represent joy and the promise of good times ahead.

No-one does hot cross buns better in the Cotswolds than our local bakery, Drapers, in Tewkesbury. Established in 1935 by the Draper family, this is a traditional bakery that has been producing delicious baked goods for over 90 years.

From fresh bread, baps and baguettes to daily pastries, cakes and morning goods, this is no-nonsense baking at its best. So popular are the products that the bakery now employs over 35 staff, delivers wholesale throughout the region and offers catering for corporate or family events.
