A BUSY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND SUPPORTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

We had an absolutely fantastic August bank holiday weekend locally. Saturday, took us to Hanley Swan Village Show, it was such a great day and so well supported, with over 80 more entries than last year! Warner’s had the honour of being asked to judge Best in Show for both the adults and children’s classes, our favourite was definitely Henry’s tractor pizza!

The annual Sunshine Festival saw Upton become an absolute hive of activity with Lulu, Adam and the Ants and Toyah in town! We all had a blast and were delighted to support the children’s craft area with free fruit throughout the weekend.

Last but most definitely not least, we were in Twyning for the inaugural village soapbox race. It was such great fun to watch, with some amazing soapbox creations, that reached speeds which must have made even the bravest of drivers wince at times – what a great day!
