A SUCCESSFUL HALF MARATHON FOR TEAM LEADER KELLY

On Sunday 14th September team leader Kelly took on the Worcester Half Marathon to raise funds for one of our current Community Savings Scheme Charites The Worcester Breast Haven. Finishing in a time of 2 hours 19 minutes she raised an incredible £537.23 for the charity.

Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven is the only local breast cancer charity fundraising and supporting Worcestershire Patients. With 800 women and 7 men a year in Worcestershire being diagnosed with breast cancer this support is now more important than ever and they are continuously fundraising to be able to provide chemotherapy care packages which every patient receives and costs £75 per patient. They also provide support activities such as free craft groups and pink ribbon Pilates.
