CARDBOARD DAVE FROM SEVERN AREA RESCUE ASSOCIATION VISITS!

When we invited members of the Severn Area Rescue Association to visit the store so we could present them with the proceeds of a raffle held at our recent Taste Club Festival Seasonal Dinner at The Yorkshire Grey. we didn’t expect to be meeting ‘Cardboard Dave’!

‘Real’ Dave accepted the cheque for £180 that was raised from a raffle held at our Taste Club festive dinner at local pub The Yorkshire Grey. Thank you to all the Taste Club members who attended for their generosity.

It costs around £1000 to kit out a SARA volunteer with a dry suit, helmets, boots and all the equipment they need to keep us all safe on land and on the river, so we were pleased to be able to do a little bit to help.

Cardboard Dave has decided to stay at the store for a bit, so please feel to put some cash in his collecting pot if you are able to, or grab a selfie with him and share on our social media!
